HR Administration Team Lead with Dutch

Job specification:

The HR Administration Team Lead is responsible for coordinating and supervising the Administration Team in the Service Center supporting employees, manager and other human resource teams. This role provides applicable services for employees within region and countries which include but are not limited to Workforce data management, Benefits, Leave and Absence, Compensation administration or Exit Management. This role ensures the timely resolution of client issues, concerns and inquiries regarding HR policies and programs using standard tools, processes and guidelines. The HR Administration Team Lead is accountable to continuously improve the customer experience while increasing the effectiveness of services through a team of Administration Specialists with a strong customer service orientation culture.

You can expect to be responsible for a wide range of activities such as:

Supervise Administration operational activities to achieve target key performance indicators, operational level agreements and service levels by executing resource planning to ensure availability of staff and support.
Execute the in-scope Admin operational plans to increase the effectiveness of services while improving the customer experience.
Lead a regional team responsible for day-to-day delivery of (not limited to):

  • Policy administration and legal compliance.
  • Benefits administration, leave and absence administration and compensation administration.
  • Exit Management activities to include coordination of separation procedures including separation packet creation, arranging exit surveys, and other off-boarding activities.
  • Workforce Data Administration services to include employee data changes, mass updates, business structure updates, data quality audits and reviews.
  • Enforcing sensitivity and confidentiality with employee personal data.

Provide insights and intelligence with respect to trends and opportunities.
Resolve escalated inquiries requiring higher level knowledge and authority and expertise.
Monitor real-time operational performance and ensure team is staffed appropriately for anticipated work volume and escalation of unusual events including malfunctions with enabling technology.
Participate with resource forecasting requirements.
Responsible for achievement of the service level agreements and business performance goals by encouraging and improving the accuracy and efficiency of team members.
Identify areas for improvement on daily operational processes and provide support to implement these initiatives by highlighting and discussing key changes/improvement programs with the Manager, Contact & Administration.
Mentor and provide leadership development to team members.
Responsible for the selection, interview and hiring process for team members
Lead and contribute to scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve performance and promote continuous learning.
Provide daily and monthly performance feedback and coaching; monitor the development and training needs of team members.

We are looking for you, if you have: 

  • Fluent English plus Dutch, ideally experience with transition
  • 6 - 8 years progressive experience managing HR administrative activities in support of Compensation, Benefits, Leave and Absence Management, Exit Management, and/or Data Management
  • Strong management skills; operates as a global leader with understanding and appreciation for regional differences
  • Experience using Service Center technologies, ticket management, knowledge management, telephony / IVR, document management, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding how work and local activities integrate with other HR functional work and in alignment with HR standards.
  • Uncompromising commitment to client and customer satisfaction
  • Experience with customer service software applications (e.g., case management)
  • Effective partnership and relationship building skills with key stakeholders
  • Good capability in assessing, developing and hiring talent

  • Positive-minded, collaborative interpersonal skills and leadership qualities necessary to build a cohesive, and focused team
  • Demonstrated understanding how work and local activities integrate with other HR functional work and in alignment with HR standards.
